We're taking our pairings to one of the newest DTLA breweries, Indie Brewing Company. Nestled just beyond the edge of the Arts District, in Boyle Heights, they're brewing unpretentious beer, with a focus on easy-drinking American and Belgian sessionables.
Brewed true to style, they hold a depth of flavor, good body and a slightly lower abv, in the 5% range. For something with a unique twist, check out their special release beers. Brews like Superfood Saison, an ale brewed with blackberry, goji berry, acai, and pitaya have earned praise from patrons and LA craft beer lovers alike. They are filling a gap in the LA market and flourishing because of it.
